I wanted to take this opportunity to publicly thank Dave Hughes of www.dcrtv.com. My ad on his site … all things radio, TV, and media-related … has steered hundreds to Waves of Wisdom. While unsolicited, I’m also appreciative of Indiana Republican Dan Burton for using his personal blog to link to a piece I wrote about the bailout.
I’m being asked, “What is this you picked Sarah Palin stuff?” What can I say … I’ve had a very good year … saying the Rays would win it all in March on an unnamed Baltimore radio station’s website as well. They’d never won more than 70 games.
I laid out the case for why I thought McCain would choose Palin back in July, submitting the op-ed piece to several papers, including the “Baltimore Sun.” No one wanted it. Judge for yourself the kind of analysis you’re getting from the “Sun.” The pundits fell in love with their McCain campaign leakers, who seem to have intentionally steered them astray, in an attempt to preserve the surprise. The big city papers were full of pieces about why McCain was going to choose Romney or Pawlenty. They even managed to jump on the Kay Bailey Hutchison bandwagon at the end.
Some of us weren’t surprised at all …
